A WIFE. A WORKING MOM. A DAUGHTER OF CHRIST...
She will wait for the Lord. She will hope in God. She will stay close to the heart of God and trust in His promises. The prospect of departing into the way of sin will be too fearful to pursue but the benefits of abiding in the shadow of the Almighty too glorious to forsake.
"Charm is deceitful, beauty vain,
Though all the world has gazed,
But when a woman fears the Lord
She will be truly praised."
I want to be a woman who lives totally abandoned to the first commandment: to love the Lord, my God, with all my heart. I don’t want the reputation that I love God. I want to actually love God. I want my heart to move. When I close my eyes and I look at Him, I want to feel alive on the inside. I want to look at Him with a fire in my heart and it’s real.

yieldfruit: This sounds so counterintuitive, but it’s very true. As a believer, the greatest depths can come from the deepest lows. Lean all on him. Dig deep. Bury yourself completely in him, and you will find your life. “Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.” Luke 17:33
officialyourdailyinspiration: 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. — 1 Peter 3:3-4 | New King James Version (NKJV) The Holy Bible; New King James Version®. koinohnia: You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book! Psalm 139
koinohnia: “If nothing good ever happens to me in life I know I’ll always be bearing good fruit, because He said that He’ll never leave me nor forsake me. I’m content with that. I’m content with us, together.” — Grace, You Are More Than Enough
